    First gen Xbox one greyscale colour issue?


    Hey guys, I have a first gen xbox one and I haven’t used it for a solid month but I’ve just turned it on and there’s some sort of greyscale filter where there is still colour but it’s very “faint” at least that’s my best way of explaining it, I’ve unplugged it and plugged it back in and all of the basic things that I would usually do when having an issue with an older console, any help is much appreciated.

    Sorry to hear about display trouble. Odd that it's displaying in greyscale, have you by chance had a chance to try resetting your display settings completely? We have an

    Xbox One Display Troubleshooter     with some steps to run through, please give that a go and let us know how it goes :)

    I've seen a Batman: Arkham City game Comparison for Xbox360 + PS3 & the hue in the Greyscale, causes problems in rendering fascial colours & bump-mapping of facial hair etc... It does, need to be tweaked...

    Xbox one dashboard is mostly blank

    I have exactly the same problem with this brand new Xbox One. Very few of the content bricks have images or colour. There are also no colour options to choose from in preferences. It's as if the large update that downloaded when first plugging the console
    in failed to download all the content. Unplugging and plugin back in did not solve the issue.

    I have an 8-Bit greyscale Link from Link's Awakening on the OG Gameboy. It's one of my favourite tattoos for sure.

    Then that remake happened and I felt obligated to play it :)
