Finding partially installed games / storage issues / xbox (beta) files

Hi, thank you for the reply. I have managed to locate the games and although they are given odd names such as 'Chelan', 'Halifaxbasegame', 'Delta' and 'SpartaUWP', I have managed to find out what they are.

The problem now is just the amount of storage they are taking. So I have Xbox GP for PC. When I have then installed each game, every time I pause it and then re-install it states it will take up more and more space. It has now taken up 700GB where it said
it would have initially only taken about 500GB. This is in the space of a few weeks so can't imagine the games would have had such significant updates in that time but I guess they could have.

The other issue was the MSIXVC folder - is this where the lost GB's are and can the contents just be deleted or will it effect the games at all? I might test it but on my current internet connection it took ages to install some of these games and don't want
to go back to the start.

By default your games will save on the C: drive and the common location of saved games is C:\Users\NAME\Saved Games\GAME. Once you find the folder you can backup the files to another storage device.The
games you play will create a saved folder for data locally but depending on where you bought the game, the cloud storage will also kick in. I know for Steam you have to check the game and make sure it has a cloud icon to know it supports it.

You should be able to move the files from your user files in the C: drive if you played from Game pass, you just would need to locate the game's folder in the Program files section of your C: drive, which
is where Steam installs by default.

You don't need to be an Windows Insider to install the Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) app. It requires Windows 10 (latest update) and the Xbox (beta) app. What is the error you are getting when trying to install?

Hey J0N, glad to hear you got the disc-read issue sorted! As for the issue installing the game, it sounds like there may be a corrupted or partial file on the HDD that needs to be deleted. Can you please look for MW3 under 'Gamers' in your console storage
area? Please delete any MW3 files that aren't save files, as well as any corrupted files, or files with an exclamation point next to them. Thank you!

The download that started at 4%, go ahead and cancel that.

Then go into Settings/System/Storage and find RDR (it might be listed as 'Unknown Game') and delete that partial file.

Then start the download again and let us know if that works out any better.

I looked under settings=> system=> storage=> hard drive=> games and apps and did not find anything resembling a partial file. I checked my download history and purchase history again and they have not changed.
