    Finding it impossible to contact Microsoft regarding a warranty claim


    My xbox elite 2 controller has 2 buttons not working, LB and LT.
    It says in my Microsoft UK account under devices that the warranty ran out on 25/01/2021 however I bought it from Microsoft UK website and bought Microsoft Complete insurance with the controller which was 3yrs warranty running out in November 2022. Please help.
    I'm finding it impossible to contact online chat or phone. Spent 2hrs now, numerous phone calls, keep getting cut off.....

    Hi, thanks for getting back to me.

    As already explained, this does not work. Because after following your steps, it then asks for my mobile number and then we're back to square one of it erroring out. I made sure the page is set to the right launguage and region too.

    All my other options are see my registered devices (and as already explained, I can't add that) or message a gamer in the community (what I'm doing right here).

    No other options. I'm hitting a brick wall here.

    We hope that you're doing well, and we apologize for the confusion.

    We have received an update from our internal support team and would like to share with you, our recommendations.

    1. They recommend going to this link: https://xboxdesignlab.xbox.com/sales/order/history and sign in with your Microsoft account (using the same email address and password that you used to place your order). Click on symbol of a person at the top right of the page and select My orders. If you don’t see your controller order, it was not completed. You’ll need to select your design and then submit your order."
    2. From here we will know the controller status.
    Please let us know after following the steps provided for us to continue sorting out the resolution of the issue.

    Hi.

    You're still linking me to solutions that's I've already stated in my initial post that do not work.

    1) I can't add a device because it errors out.

    2) The warranty issue is what this thread is about.

    3) No idea how terms is going to get me an update on my warranty status.

    Literally left in the dark here.
