Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age - Black screen at launch

I was playing the game just fine for 20 hours, and even minutes before, it was working. The game loaded to the opening menu, but I was having trouble getting my controller detected (it happens sometimes, not sure why) and I was closing and opening the game a few times trying to figure out why it is not detecting inputs.

Finally, I restart my computer to try and fix it, and when I load again, it gives an error (I can't recall what the error was) and only shows a black screen. The game didn't close and I had to force quit. Since then, it only launches into a black window and I have to force close it. I even uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, but the problem still persists. It has a separate options launcher inside of Xbox Game Pass, and I can change the settings, but no settings change anything.

With how locked down the Microsoft/Xbox store is, I don't even know where the game files are to try to fix the problem myself, or even where the save is. It's probably all encrypted anyway... What can I do?

I have already tried reinstalling. I even reinstalled on a separate hard drive with no change. No AV is running aside from Windows Defender.

First try to reinstall the game. Make sure to turn off your third party Antivirus when you do please.

It no longer gives an error when I start the game and I don't recall what it said the first time. It do have a WER file from when the app hangs, but I think that's probably just a generic error because I have to force close the program. I'll provide some of the contents of the WER in case any of it is relevant.

(I wish there was a code formatting so this info would not be so long and cumbersome.)
