Fifa 23 just purchased no audio and poor graphics

Thank you so much for your patience and support Josef I never had a console before and never been a gamer, as you can imagine since this is such a vast universe it is so easy to feel lost and overwhelmed when you are new to it but your support has been extremely helpful

About refunds, this is true if you don’t try to request a refund too often and if you meet these two requirements:

“Requests are made within 14 days of the purchase date
Requests are for games in which you haven’t accumulated a significant amount of play time”

I don’t know how much time you spent inside FIFA playing and trying to fix the problem. But this can affect the refund approval

I used different accounts because with one of the two accounts I could not post questions all day for some unknown reasons....

I tried everything Josef, uninstall and reinstall, change stereo uncompressed for 5.1 uncompressed, unplug the Xbox for 5 minutes.

Honestly it was just random

- if FIFA audio was not working the audio was working fine with everything else

- when FIFA audio instead was working all the other games and Xbox menu had no audio

I had similar issues with audio when I had game pass and I installed FIFA 22 and since I cancelled game pass and uninstalled FIFA 22 this never happened again fir months till yesterday when I purchased and installed FIFA 23.

UPDATE

This morning apparently the audio is working fine with all games included FIFA after yesterday I spent all day trying anything......it probably needed just a good night sleep. However, I will monitor the situation all day to see if it happens again.

The problem though, is that this game comes with other issues:

This morning I was trying the career mode and after buying a player the game has now been frozen for the past 30 minutes. I had to unplugged the Xbox for several minutes and after restarting the game I realized that I basically lost at least 10 transfers (maybe 1 hour of game) and I have to do all over again!

Plus there are still so many famous players with no game face :-( I wonder if it is something FIFA will fix with patches and updates

I am also concerned about the graphics:

- colors, sharpness and brightness seemed to be much better in FIFA 22 both in menu, animations and game play

- camera during game play is awful the field looks funny and if I get closer to the TV the players look pretty pixely and chunky during the game play

- the animations are amazing but when the players move using the animation is all shaky and blurry sometimes

Initially I thought that since I bought ultimate edition and I have two downloads included I downloaded by accident the Xbox one version but i definitely downloaded the series X/S

I am not sure if is the game that is faulty, if it just looks like this on series S or if I have to spend hours messing with both game and Xbox settings to improve the result

.Honestly I bought the Xbox because I work very hard all week and Saturday and Sunday I wanna spend a couple of hours playing to chill out, instead after buying this game I spent my Saturday and Sunday dealing with issues i.e. audio, game getting frozen and graphics concerns,

Probably best solution would be asking a refund and I do not know if is worth asking for another copy because is a digital game after all. The problem is that this was the first of the many games I wanted to purchase for the black Friday during this week end and I wanted to keep the option of a refund for a game I really did not like after trying it as of course you cannot ask more than one or two refunds I guess :-(

I really don't know what to do I wanted to enjoy this week end buying and trying black Friday games, instead I have just spent 2 whole day dealing with FIFA issues

I told you in my previous message Josef I have a Series S..........I have no clue what is an insider build beta OS.

What did I try same things I tried today turn off TV turn off console atc

but nothing changes it is all random sometimes the audio work for all the games but Fifa and sometimes the other way around the audio works for FIFA only
