FIFA 22 won't play on Windows 11

Discus and support FIFA 22 won't play on Windows 11 in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Ever since I upgraded I have not been able to play FIFA 22.     FIFA 22 won't play on Windows 11


    Ever since I upgraded I have not been able to play FIFA 22. I have windows 11 and have all the requirements to run it. Been playing for over a month without any issues. I have tried everything I have seen here in the community - updated the protected folders (it has been off and I even turned it on, no luck), reinstalled origin, reinstalled FIFA, deleted McAfee, ran as admin, updated the media pack ... nothing works. Anyone have any luck trying something else? Any chance EA would give a refund or at least allow me to pay the difference for FIFA 23? Any and all help is appreciated!

    I expect you managed to solve this by now but I've just got a new laptop with windows 11 and had the same problem and this post kept coming up when I was searching.So I'm posting to help anyone else having the same problem changing to windows 11. Origin is still working and works with windows 11 I deleted the other EA app which is useles should just be scrapped . All my EA games work no problem offline with Origin on windows 11. And if anyone working for EA reads this can you pass it on to your bosses theres alot of people like myself who work away from home in jobs where wifi is not available so gaming offline really helps mentally ask them to bear in mind not everyone around the world has easy access to wifi. Because alot of companies are now acting like everyone in the world has easy access to wifi and thats nowhere near the truth.

    It seems that you already tried a lot of things

    Just to confirm, is this happening only with FIFA 22 or if you try a different EA game something similar happens?
    When you say "Ever since I upgraded" do you mean to Windows 11? Or upgraded to what?

    About the refund or difference, sincerely I can't tell you if they can do that . You can try asking this to them.

    In the meantime and to isolate the problem a bit more, try this:

    A. Open task manager > select the startup tab > disable all the programs listed there temporarily
    Restart the PC and try again

    B. Do a clean boot in your PC and try again

    Thank you for the recommendations. This is only happening on FIFA 22 - it is the only game I have installed. When I said update I meant the latest windows 11 updates. I tried all 3 recommendations and still no luck.
