FIFA 14 Origin Account Error message

I have an active XBOX Gold pass. I am connected to the internet. I can sign in but I cannot connect to the EA Servers directly or try to connect through playing seasons. I get the following error message:

You will not be able to use the online features in FIFA 14 unless you create an Origin Account (EA). Go to any online area of the title to try again.

I don't know where to go to fix this. I go to Customize tab to online settings and click on Origin Account, it tries to log in to EA Servers and can't and brings up this same message.

HELP PLEASE!!

whats the problem with FIFA 14 my son can no longer connect to Ultimate team on his new xbox one?! Ive scoured the internet and apparently there are major issues with fifa 14, EA and the new origin accounts connecting. help please?!!! I know that this stupid
13 age restriction with origin exists but even setting up a new account that is adult and creating an origin account to play fifa 14 doesn't connect HEEEEELP!

hello I can not change the email of origin in fifa 14.se I access from PCs on client origin and try to connect (connect) my xbox live account to the account origin tells me that the account is used (connected) with another origin account. What should I do?

 

Posting this for the 3,475th time. Unplug your Xbox One, plug it back in, start it up, sign in, play FIFA and it will re-connect you to their servers.

 

I unplugged my xbox one and everything but I am still getting the origin message help!!!!!!

 

Same happening here tried full turn off and unplug of xbox and internet for 1 minute.......no success????

According to the OP, it worked. So, I guess it didn't suck as far as he's concerned.

 

i cannot access either, I'm getting an option to update a security question for origin but it won't save it. every time i click next, it just wipes the question.

i gotta add that i had to change my password for LIVE as my email was hacked though.

 

If power cycling the console doesn't fix the issue, reset the password to you origins account. The message is telling you that you need to sign into an origins account, but after you reset and launch the game again it will tell you that your password is
too weak and prompt you to reset it. Issue has been made aware of by EA
