FH5 not letting me accept gifts or do auctions

Thank you for contacting the Xbox support forums. To confirm, your current Gamertag is connected to a family account? By chance, do you know if your account is set as a child account? Typically, only the parent (original creator of the family group) will be able to alter settings. You may attempt to remove yourself from a family group using the steps below;

To remove yourself online:

1) Sign in to your family Microsoft account.Microsoft account

2) Under your name, select Leave family.

To remove a family member on your Xbox:
Sign in with the appropriate account on the console.

1) Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

2) Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Family settings > Manage family members. If prompted, validate that you have the authority to make this change by entering your password or passkey.

3) Select the account that you want to remove from the family group.

4) Select Remove <Name> from family, where <Name> is the person’s name that you want to remove.

5) Select Remove from family to confirm that you want to remove the family member.

Won’t let me either I’m not in a child account it’s adult ,so what do I change on my profile privacy settings so I can access what I want onmy game ?makes no sense,just starting doing this

No, it can't.

If it is a child account, allowing the privacy settings will remove the restrictions on the account normally

If we choose to keep games and apps, then will it still keep the progress?

Hi Jesse, so we did the factory reset and setup again but sadly it didn't work .

The only other thing I can think of is that its a child's account that's the problem.

Do you think that's possible?

Can progress in FH5 be transferred to a different adult gamertag?
