    FH5 crashes on launch with the error code 0x800701b1


    My forza keeps crashing on launch, have already tried fixing it myself by reinstalling, switching the installation drive and resetting the game, the Xbox-app and the Microsoft store. I have also tried contacting the Forza support, but they just redirected me here.

    Same issue here, took the same steps.

    I also tried the "rescan disks" thin posted earlier and running the game as administrator.

    I found another troubleshooting guide online that mentioned assigning permissions to the account you're logged in on, which didn't help at all.

    I actually got around to resetting my PC today and can confirm that FH5 is working fine again. However, I still can’t believe that this effort was really necessary to get a single video game to work. I hope that such a problem will never occur again in the future. However, since the exact cause is unknown to my knowledge, I unfortunately can’t actively prevent the error from occurring again…

    I'm having the same issue. Tried verifying game files, moving the game files to another drive, resetting the Xbox app and Windows store. Still getting the same error.
