Fh4 / xbox live parental control setting error

So after getting Forza Horizon 4 a few days ago I keep getting blocked from accessing "Hot New Designs" and some other online content because "This feature is blocked per your Xbox Live parental control
settings." I've spent about an hour trying to fix this problem, including changing microsoft's family settings, but have been unable to find a solution and was wondering if anyone could help.

I have a problem with Forza Horizon 4

Whenever i open the liverys on fh4 it keeps saying "Thsi Feature is Blocked per your Xbox Live Parental Control Settings"

 

FH4 This feature is blocked per your Xbox Live parental control settings

Im playing FH4 on Windos but i cant use any online features. I have the ultimate edition if that helps. My account is a parent account. I get this message when i try (This feature is blocked per your Xbox Live parental control settings). I hope you can
help me.

i dont think its an error in game because it says "This feature is blocked per your Xbox Live parental control settings." I dont think my account is a child account because im over 18. But i dont know
why I get this message

Thank you so much for the quick reply! I do see that you did try to manage the family settings on the account. Are you part of a family on your Microsoft account and if so are you the parent on the account or a child account?

 

I dont think I am that because I dont see any other accounts on the family section. Thank you in advance!

We've seen this issue before and rest assured we are here to help, first things first, what is a work around that works is creating a new
Microsoft account and adding the existing account to it as a minor. Once that is done then we suggest changing the

Online Privacy Settings from the new account towards the "minor" account. We also understand that this can be a bit confusing so we suggest

Requesting a Callback from one of our Xbox Support Specialists so we can do this in a step by step manner, give it a shot and let us know if we can further assist in this or any other matter!

There are many bugs in Forza 4. Personally I get the same error when I try and access the designs. You can go to the

Forza Forums. There are others that have posted similar issues on there. There are also a list of known issues/bugs.

I have tried creating a new account and adding me as a family member, reinstalled the game and log in & ut from my account. No difference at all. I know that it works for my friend, and we have not done anything different. This is a big deal for me, because
I want to use the game as its ment. How do I solve this problem? Thank you in advance!

Yes once the new account is set up and the original account added as a minor modify the settings from the new account of the original account to adult defaults. But again, we suggest reaching out to one of our live agents since its going to be a bit easier!
