Feeling betrayed because of the Sea of Thieves promotion

Bought an Xbox One X two weeks ago and contacted Xbox Support yesterday (he said he saved it so it is in my history) and was sent here to get more help.

I felt really disappointed to find out that I bought an Xbox One X too late to get PUBG for free and bought it too early to get Sea of Thieves. I know this part of a digital promotion and not a bundle promotion so there must be something that can be done.

I have been a fan of Xbox for over 8 years and owned 2 regular Xbox One's, and now own an Xbox One S and Xbox One X (all can be proven in my account). As a loyal and dedicated customer, I feel betrayed because of the missed promotions simply because I didn't
have the opportunity to buy an Xbox One X earlier.

You would need to contact the retailer you purchased the console from to see if there is anything they can do.

 

I got the console through a subscription as a bonus so that's not really an option I guess? Could I try to contact the Microsoft Store in my country?

 

You could try but I doubt there is anything they can do. Those promotions are dependent on if the retailer is participating in them and you have to purchase the game with the console to get it for free. Unfortunately since you didn't purchase it from a retailer,
there's not much that can be done.

chat or phone support in your region to take a closer look and explore your options. However, we're afraid if you did not purchase your Xbox One X console during the

promotional period it's likely you'll be told you are not eligible for a code.
