Feedback: Xbox One controllers are garbage

I just want to say that I am extremely dissatisfied with how crummy Xbox One controllers are. I'm 30 years old. I've been playing video games all of my life, I've played it all and either have or have played on all of the video game console controllers that
you can imagine and the Xbox One controller is the only controller that I've ever had that actually broke on me.

On not just one, but TWO Xbox One controllers. The Right-Bumper has broke. I'm not particularly a macho guy and I don't "rage" with my controllers. Just by means of regular taps, the right bumper buttons have collapsed on two Xbox One controllers. I'm fed
up with this. I'm not buying another Xbox One controller and I'm hesitant to ever consider a Microsoft branded controller again. I can't trust them.

I just wanted to get that off of my chest. Now I'm off to configure my PS3 controller on my PC, a controller that has actually stood the test of time.

See? someone gets what I mean! FPS can kill controllers waaaaaay faster then normal gaming and I hope they put that into consideration when they were building the One's controller.

Controllers are garbage!

Been using the same controller since I got my first Xbox 360 for Christmas '06. I beg to differ, sir.

Most controllers tend to give up after a while. Sometimes they keep working for a long time, sometimes they break. I hope your next controller keeps on working for a longer time.

Xbox one hardward/OS is pure garbage but the controller and games are awesome

yeah the elite controller is a little bit overpriced

but the normal controllers are pretty nice

especially if you get a good offer

sometimes you can buy a new one for 30 bucks - which is incredibly cheap

most problems occur on every controller - no matter if it's a xbox/ps/nintendo controller

every controller shows signs of wear - sooner or later

but the xbox service is accomodating and some problems like "stick drifting" can be easily fixed by yourself

also don't forget about the awesome xbox design lab!

there are a lot of pros and not so much cons actually..

Could be luck of the draw man, I've had my Xbox One controller from 2014, and my 360 controllers since 2011 and I haven't had any issues.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck with Xbox One controllers, I've gone through a few myself but usually after plenty of game time. I've got no real complaints about the controllers aside from stick drift, but that affects pretty much all controllers for
all platforms. The Xbox One controller (and the Elite) are hands down my two favourite controllers on the market. Nothing else comes close for me.
