[Feedback] Suggestion for new feature: Bandwitch speed limiter for downloads

I can only suggest you bring your idea to the Xbox Insiders hub over on reddit

The only current way is via your router settings. If your router doesn't do this, I suggest contacting your ISP.

If your ISP can't do anything then your best option is to buy an additional router that can, turn your current router into modem mode and connect it to the new router.

the download speed is every day terrible..... i'm trying to download Titanfall to my new external Drive.... and is extremly slow. And no it is not a Bandwitch problem on my Site..... other downloads over PC or Laptop works great.... but xbox live servers
everytime are extremly slow... it is a microsoft problem.... and we stupid Gold Members are paying a lot of money for nothing. A shame MS.

Thank you for your post. I understand you are looking for a way to limit download speed on your Xbox One. Speed limiting for downloads is not an available feature for the Xbox One, a way around this could be through your router's configurations. Many routers
made recently have options for limiting bandwidth to devices on the network.

There is no problem with LIVE that I can see. I've just downloaded a 700MB demo in under 5 minutes. What is your download speed? Can you do the speed test suggested by colllecionador? Thanks

There are no speed limits on Xbox LIVE. But speeds can be effected depending on what you are downloading, and how many other people are downloading the same thing. Also speeds are dependant on capabilities of your ISP.

Since you're on Xbox cloud gaming, it may only limit some of the features in game like resolution and refresh rate to keep a consistent performance. In addition, having higher refresh rate would require a faster internet speed.
