then its a bungie problem





Bungie.net is their own servers

so is there name filters as bungie pro and waypoint is bungie owned

if bungie doesn't allow you to use your name then and refused to change their filters there is nothing you can do



what the tech means is that 1st gamertags are in the realm of xbox live if you aren't allowed on waypoint or bungie pro then YOU must change your gamertag on xbox live to get into bungie's servers



2nd you cannot change your name on waypoint without changing your gamertag

Correct. Has to do with the MAC address filtering.

You are correct it seems this is a problem at Bungie, namely it seems their word filter for Reach is preventing the word alcoholic in your profile because I cant see 'rug' being the issue.

This is something you would need to take up with them I think.

Sean2383 is correct, you will definitely want to go ahead and file a complaint and then block, mute and avoid the player using

this guide. I have filtered out your opening post due to the graphic detail, which I can only imagine was horrible to listen to. The reason I have filtered it out is because these forums are 'E for Everyone' so people of all ages will be able to read that.

There is currently no genre filter, as there was on Xbox 360.
