Feedback Buzz Following Update

Following the most recent update taking place on Friday, September 14, 2018, there is now a feedback buzz that is emitted via my TV speakers.

Hardware specs are as thus; Samsung USHD TV (2015), Xbox One (Original), Xbox One Elite Controller.

This is happening when I turn off the controller and leave the Xbox One on. During loading screens, the is emitted at a lower decibel, but still there.

Unplugging the HDMI cable and reseating resolves the issue till the controller is once again turned off and the Xbox One is left on. Turning the controller on and moving to a tile will also stop the buzz.

This was not happening prior to the update, hence my belief that it is an issue that has arisen from the update. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Onkyo Surround Sound Issue

Update: The hum and buzz seemed to just randomly disappear and now games are playing in 5.1. Tv, apps and bluray still havintg the issue. No settings were changed. Turned off. Came back and buzz was gone. Weird.

If you are still experiencing this problem one thing I would suggest trying is going through a

Factory reset while keeping all your games and apps. Read through the article carefully, it'll let you know what is removed and what remains in the console.

I have attempted the following to repair this issue;

Power Cycle the Xbox One; Replace HDMI cable; Tried Different TV; Used Different Controller; Offline System Update.

Nothing has repaired this issue. I will try to restore back to factory defaults but I fear that I will have to purchase a new Xbox. There is no fix for Microsoft's software update breaking devices nor a way to rollback the update to a previous version.

Hi

high volume cause feedback not buzzing. Normally buzzing is a electric problem. If you have a old controller and if you connect to a power bank with the headphones connect to the controller you will get a small buzzing on the background.

I am getting bad feedback/buzzing with my x12s when plugged into the xbox one...anyone else having this issue?

Humming/buzzing would have to be due to one of these following parts:

-Xbox system fans

-Disc drive

-Hard drive

These are the only moving parts which could cause vibration or buzzing.

Please check that there is not disc in the drive, check that system fans are blowing correctly, and lastly, check that the sound is not coming from your hard drive by taking the hard drive out and see if the sound persists.
