    yes in order to play multiplayer features you must purchase gold



    click xbox live

    and select join xbox live it is a breakdown of gold and free features



    free only allows purchase of non gold content and msging via the console

    http://account.microsoft.com/services     to see if the subscription is showing there.

    If the subscription shows, try the following steps

    1. Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)
    2. Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

    3. Redownload your profile

    ​ If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at

    Check Sign in to your Microsoft account for active subscriptions to make sure that you have a active subscription.

    After that try removing your account from your console and redownload the account.

    The first thing you should do is dpinga Power Cicle on your Xbox, if It doesn't work you should remlvr your account and download it again, if It also doesn't work it's because Xbox Live is down.

    Redeemed xbox live code used up the code but cant get on the interbet

    Xbox live trials only give you some gold features,not all.

    You need a full gold membership to download games for gold & to access all xbox live gold features.
