Feature of Diablo 3 that I thought was PS4 exclusive

I was playing co-op with a friend of mine last night and I had just leveled up, so I asked if we could stay put for a second while I chose the new skill.

While I was in the skill screen we both heared what sounded like a for horn, it sounded a second time but then some drums kicked in, we were both like "what the h*ll is that?" then all of a sudden this huge creature appeared from nowhere and started attacking
us both.

I didnt catch its name as we both ran to a more open area to try and take it on, I know it had four or five skills and also two or three "shadow" warriors following it (like the shadow versions of you you fight at the end of act 4)

Unfortunately it killed my friend (hes a wizard and cant take a punch) and as soon as he died the creature warped away.

If this creature is what I think it is (a powerful creature appears in your game, if it kills you and leaves your game and appears in a friend of yours more powerful but with better loot drops if its killed) I thought this viral creature thing was only a
playstation 4 feature.

Either way that feature is awesom and I cant wait to get back in.

looking for MMORPG equivalent to World of Warcraft and Diablo.

Blizzard has stated a few times that Diablo 3 isn't exclusive to PS3 and PS4 consoles so it's possible that when the next Xbox is announced they will also announce Diablo 3 for those systems.

 

ANYONE - Diablo 3 + Reaper of Souls

The reason I think it will come to XBox One is because they are not promoting Diablo 3 and ROS as one of the exclusives for PS4. If it wasn't being developed for Xbox One, you know Sony would be calling it one if their exclusives. Instead, they used Resogun,
Drive Club and Knack as PS4 exclusives.

 

Yep, it spawns with the name killer of yourdedfreindlol, i killed one earlier, got good xp crap loot but my m8 got a leg in the post, i love the gift system lol, hands down this is way more fun than on PC, gl.
