Favourites notifications not working?

I’ve tried this and checking my settings, nothing has changed or fixed. The notifications still do not work

Thank you for reporting this issue, we know it is important for you to receive notifications from your favorites. We would suggest you report this problem to the Team Xbox for investigation.

Please install Report a Problem app from Microsoft Store on Xbox Series X|S.

After installing the app, press and hold the Xbox button on your controller and then select Report a problem to launch the Report a Problem app. Once the app launch, select report new problem and provide details about your concern.

They work for me. I have it set to favourites only and they work every time.

The SmartGlass beta doesn't display notifications when favourite friends come online though, even though I have it set to do so. I get notifications in it when someone sends me a message, so the notifications are working - just not for friends coming online.
It is a beta though, so maybe that's not working properly right now.

Just a friendly reminder though that there are multiple reports in regards to the same issue. However, there are no official announcement or information from Microsoft.
