    Faulty XBox Headset


    I have a faulty XBox headset so I contacted Microsoft after a whole morning of going round in circles online I finally spoke to someone to report the issue and got a case number. They said someone would be in contact about a replacement headset and after
    months of chasing I have just been emailed to say that my case has been closed. Argos the retailer have told me that I need to resolve it with Microsoft because its a manufacturer warranty but I don't know what to do anymore. I have looked at all of the online
    options to troubleshoot but it's not working. Has anyone else ever had a problem getting a replacement headset under Microsoft / XBox '1 year warranty'?

    It could be that the headset is faulty now or that the jack in the controller itself is the issue. How old is the headset and controller ? What brand is the headset ?

    Hi Microsoft Agent,

    I'm having the same problem, we have an Xbox one S, we have now purchased 2 headsets thinking the first was faulty. Both headsets work on a friends xbox. We then purchased a new controller believing ours was faulty, but still no joy. We are using Xbox One
    Wireless Controller 3.5mm white. We have borrowed a friends controller and the headsets work straight away on our box.
