Unless your friend has magic powers and can transport himself to your couch then its not offline at all.

Requires PS+(internet)requires stream as no download or ownership needed(internet).Seems to be its an online service.You can argue all you want about local multiplayer but it turns out to be online coop without owning the game much like Far Cry4 keys set

coop on certain games. So once again this amounts to nothing more than Coop play with a friend on certain games that support it which requires PS+ and an internet connection. The only other NEW feature is the ability to take over someones Single player game

now I'm sure this thread will be locked or deleted but the advice given above is the best your gonna get, take it or leave it, and if you've used xbox live as long as you have you should just expect this sort of thing to be buisness as usual on the Internet,
with out any consequences (I.e. Getting punched in the face for being a d-bag) people will spew vile things to make themselves feel better.
