    Hi,

    I have recently bought the game Far Cry 6, I love the graphics and the game overall but the issue is that I sometimes get weird stutters that seem to not drop my frames. I have seen this with the fps counter that I have enabled and it doesn't show any signs of frame drops. This issue doesn't seem to be fps stutters from these conclusions. Anyways, my pc should be able to easily handle this game, as it is an above-average computer, here are my specs:

    Ryzen 5 5600x

    RTX 3070

    16 GB of 3200mz ram (set in bios too)

    Samsung 970 evo plus 500 GB ssd

    I believe that these specs should easily be able to run Far Cry 6 with it fully optimized, however, I have lowered many things and disabled the HD graphic features and I'm still getting these stutters. The game has a built-in benchmark tester which I used and it shows that I get the average 60 fps that my monitor can support, with a low of 58 fps. (I have enabled v-sync because I don't have a really good monitor) This specific issue doesn't really happen in other games, however, something similar has occurred where I get minor fps stutters but this issue doesn't seem to be fps-related so I can't conclude that it is a repeating problem. I hope this helps and someone can reach out and help me fix this issue.

    This might be the only game so far that I didn't notice any frame drops or stutters.

    Or maybe I just can't remember them because the game was so AWESOME!

    Dead rising as been good fun so far and its crazt the amount of zombies that are on screen aswell, Not seen any frame rate drops yet and i have just finished chapter 6 in story mode.

    It would be when I'm walking it would be a really bad frame rate drop to where it would stutter really bad.

    Thank you for the suggestion.. I think I uninstalled the feedback app mistakenly but it seems the stuttering and frame drop issue is gone after the latest update of game bar that I got yesterday.. Now, there's no issue while recording anymore with this
    game.. Also, thanks again for the links.

    Considering that tv and movies run at 24 FPS and you don't see any stuttering, how can you see stuttering at 30 FPS when it is faster? I suspect your system is suffering from frame rate drops and is actually running at less than 24 FPS.

    It's not. I enabled the frame rate tracker on the command console. It monitors the frame rate and displays it in the top right hand corner of the screen. It never dips on any locked frame rate. My PC runs CS: Source at a stable 299 fps (which is the max)
    when the frame rate is unlocked.
