Far Cry 4 not downloading properly

    Far Cry 4 not downloading properly


    Tried downloading it overnight. I woke up and it was only 28% done. It then disappeared from my queue so I started to download again this am. It made it up to 34%, I was able to play prologue before I reached the limits of what had already downloaded and
    it disappeared from queue a second time.

    Both times it disappeared from queue it restarted from scratch.

    I have slow internet, so the slow download speed is normal. But in the past if I've lost connection, the download would pick up from where it left off.

    I just got far cry 4, if you liked far cry 3, then your going to love far cry 4.

    Far Cry 4 - Changing the Tone

    I absolutely loved Far Cry 3 myself. But something about 4 is throwing me off. I do not know what it is. Perhaps it was when they said "Far Cry 4 is what Far Cry 3 was supposed to be". And that to me worries me. Did they think Far Cry 3 was bad? So
    they need to fix it... because Far Cry 3 was amazing.

    If it is not broke do not try to fix it, just expand on it.

    I will still be getting this though.

    Hello AcadiaPaul, I would recommend stopping the download yourself and giving it a fresh start with a whole new download. Go to the Far Cry 4 Download in the queue and hit the menu button and select cancel. Now just return to the store and try reinstalling
    it and see if this helps you out. If not, I would try and Cold Boot the Xbox. (Holding down the power button on your console for 5 seconds and let it sit for 30 seconds after shutting it down and turn it back on.) I'll be around if you need any more help!

    Far Cry 4 download

    Hi shep1980.

    When you buy a game via the console, the game will always be the Xbox One version, unless you buy a backward compatible game.

    If you have accidentally purchased the wrong version, you can always call support and get the money refunded for the correct version.

    Far Cry 4 is shaping up to be awesome..I loved Far Cry's 2 and 3 and just recently re-bought Far Cry: Instincts Predator(duel wield feral carnage baby) and Far Cry Classic to keep me busy until the sweet release of Far Cry 4....topping Vaas as a villian
    is going to be challenging.
