Happens to me sometimes, need to wait till Xbox live is fully loaded before signing in, if that doesn't work, log out of your account, quit Fortnite, start Fortnite while not signed in , You'll
be prompted to log in , Once logged in, your account should work -

On xbox.com it says SniffySquid5278. On the Xbox app when I log out and log in it says welcome back SniffySquid5278, but while logged in it still says Doodle2513. Im guessing you’re right, I just need to wait a few days for it to fully switch.

I can connect to xbox live, but when I try to play a game any game it will log me out and prompt me to sign in again to play game. When I exit the game it will do the same thing log off and need to log on again, this is on every game. Now today it connects
to live, but I try to play an online game it kicks me from live, exit the game and and it will log back into live. What is going on with XBOX

So in order to fix this I logged out loaded up the game while being logged out when I came to the screen where it prompted me to sign I signed in and it worked.
