Fan ticks again after last update

Think its the fan ticking.

MIne is ticking. I suspect it's the fan because when I turn off the unit, the ticking continues until the fan stops moving. The ticking is coming from just over the CPU location at the top where the exhaust fan is blowing out. The ticking gets more frequent
(and maybe louder?) when I play a game and less frequent when watching TV or Netflix. The unit started out silent, but each day the ticking becomes increasingly noticeable.

I have no problems with functionality at all, but the noise is distracting.

Is someone from Xbox One support monitoring these threads?

Hi lunactic0001 I had something like that too on my console. I contact MS support and am doing an advanced replacement on my console. Mine sounded like a ticking sound like a hard drive tick. I was told it was not normal and on a rare occasion after a game
of Ryse for an hour; on standby it did not make a single sound except the fan going on and off so I can say I have seen it work like its supposed to that one glorious moment which lasted until I turned it back on.

Are you sure it's the fan? "ticking like a cricket" may be the hard drive...
