Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to this issue/question about the console's fan and what options you have for repairing it, if the console is under warranty you can create a repair ticket and send it in for repair. However, since this
is an Original Xbox One, if the console is no longer under warranty you will not be able to send it in as you would an Xbox One S or X if they we out of warranty and pay a fee. The Original Xbox One is no longer being serviced as Microsoft and Xbox are no
longer making the console units. If you are having issues with the console you may need to seek out a replacement unit. it is unfortunate but at this time it is one of the only options if the console is no longer under warranty.

play with it they will sell why are you justifying someone forcing you to do something idc what there intentions are good or bad

Halo anniversary used it to scan things I was going to check it out for that they have other ways to get people to check out kinect then making it mandatory and you're right they aren't making us buy it but I think we'd all like to stick with Xbox if they
would get there act together and not just us but our friends who's going to buy a game system that your friends don't have

I believe the reason they're 'forcing' you to buy a Kinect with the console is because then it becomes the standard. If everyone has one, more developers with developer for it. That's why there aren't a lot of games for kinect, or AAA titles that use it,
nobody has it. If everyone had one, it would be a different story. Using the kinect is a solid idea, it has amazing technology that we should be using. It could be great. Also, I find the idea of Kinect always on not scary at all. Microsoft is pretty secure,
and I don't think people want to watch you play naked Kinectimals.

If you're so angry, buy a PS4. It's not a different console, it's just a few differences in different wrapping.
