Family settings locked

Discus and support Family settings locked in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I bought a 2nd hand 360 console a couple of years ago and am now trying to connect to Xbox live but the settings are locked.     I bought a 2nd hand 360 console a couple of years ago and am now trying to connect to Xbox live but the settings are locked. Don't know the pass code or the answer to the pass code question. .What can I do?

    Hi, i bought an used xbox 360 slim. I want to rest to factory default settings but family settings are locked with four digit code. Please HELP !!! Family settings locked :)

    Sorry to hear about your situation.



    But, unless you can remember the passcode, the only way to unlock it is to contact Xbox Support (http://support.xbox.com/en-US/). Unfortunately, they are the only ones who have access to the accounts.

    Was the account made under a family setting? may be locked due to the family settings on other account. If theres a family account, you would have to access that account to remove an account connected to it.
