Family safety will not extend time

My child was playing a game when his computer time ran out. he sent a request for extra time, which I allowed, however the computer did not unlock. This continued to happen. When I tried to unlock using 'my parent is here' I got a grey screen and the following unexpected error ref: 80070b4

I have tried restarting the computer and get the same issue

my Administrator profile works fine.

Any help would be great.

1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

The system will ask you if you want to run CHKDSK after restarting the system, press Y on your keyboard and then type "Exit" and restart the computer, it will scan in DOS mode.

Tried removing and adding account, same issue

First, make sure that your Windows is up-to-date.

If everything is updated, try to remove your child's account from your family group and add him back again. Let's see if that would work.

your time left is added to the family pack and extends the subscription for the whole family. but the family sub is only extended by half of the time left on your subscription.

example: 2 months gold time on your account will add 1 month to the year subscription on the family pack.
