Family Safety NOTIFICATION Settings... why can I not find a way to change them online?

I have tried several "ask community threads" online and none of them have the solution. I have also contacted Microsoft through the phone and online chat to only get told the same thing as the thread with no solution... online chat even gave up and directed me to the family safety website.

I have been trying to change notification settings for my account and am not successful, and have had zero successful support form Microsoft. Below are the steps I have taken....

    1) Logged into https://account.microsoft.com/family/home

    2) Clicked on "Family Settings" icon in the top right....

    3) selected my profile (yes I am a family organizer).

    4) No option for editing my account, no option shows up for screen time, no option shows up for notifications. Nothing. So I tried selecting "Microsoft Account Settings" only to be drug to the main website which is not helpful either.

Any help would be much appreciated. The solution presented by Micsorfot Chat Support to "Leave Family Group" is not a solution...

    :)

Family Safety NOTIFICATION Settings... why can I not find a way to change them online?

    Hello Ellis002,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

Your privacy and online safety settings ensure that you and your family can have peace of mind while connected to the Xbox service. If you’re having trouble changing your privacy and online safety settings on your Xbox console, use the steps below:

Solution 1: Make sure that you’re signed in

You must be signed in to the Xbox service to make changes to your privacy and online safety settings. First, make sure that you’re signed in to the console.

If you’re trying to change the settings for a child account or teen account, make sure that you’re signed in as the organizer of your Xbox family group. Child and teen accounts are restricted from making changes to their own privacy and online safety settings.

For more info about changing privacy settings, see:

Manage Xbox online safety and privacy settings

Solution 2: Check the Xbox status

Check the Xbox status page. If you see any services with alerts, expand the service, scroll down to Notifications, and sign in to receive a message when the service is up and running again.

    Xbox status page

If you receive an error message with an error code, enter the code in the search bar to find a solution for your specific error.

Solution 3: Add or remove a PIN to change settings

Have you set your Sign-in, security & PIN preferences on your Xbox console to require a PIN when changing settings? If you’ve forgotten your PIN, you can remove the current PIN. Then, if you want to create a new PIN, select Create my PIN on the console and follow the instructions.

Manage a PIN for your Xbox profile

Note If you don’t add a new PIN, you’ll be prompted to enter your password if your Sign-in, security & PIN settings are still set to require a PIN to make changes. Change this setting to stop getting prompted.

Update your Microsoft account security info

Solution 4: Manage your privacy and online safety settings on Xbox.com

If you’re having trouble managing your privacy and online safety settings on your console, sign in with your Microsoft account to review and change your settings online.

Sign in to your Microsoft account

Family Safety NOTIFICATION Settings... why can I not find a way to change them online?

The problem is not on Xbox. The problem is associated with the Microsoft Family Safety App as well as the online Family Safety website.

There was no option under the list of “products” close to the Family Safety App except under Xbox when I submitted this request for help. Nor is there a “chat” or “phone” support option for the App…

I appreciate the above info but it is all unrelated to the Family Safety App which affects use across more than just Xbox, such as laptop, online access etc. for kids in the family.

Any help on the App and notification settings within the App is what I am looking for support on.
