Family Safety - Can't remove member, not in profile

Recently Family Safety started sending me emails about needing to reinstall the program because of changes in Feb of 2024. I have been using Family Safety for several years and my son Ryder (*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***) has been a member; he is 13. When I updated the app on my phone, he is no longer listed as a family member or when I log into the app or family.microsoft.com so I sent him an invite to join the family. When we click on the invitation it says 'you are already a member of a group' and prompts me to remove him from the existing group. Obviously, I can't do this because he no longer shows up in the profile as belonging to my family. I log into family.microsoft.com as him, but when I try and 'leave the group' it gives an error stating he needs to have the family organizer remove him from the group. I am left in a limbo here, I can't see my sons account and he can't leave the group to rejoin.

This is all further complicated by the fact I have multiple 365 accounts, *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** (work/admin) *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** (personal) and *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** (live login). I have tried every combination of three and can't get any of them to work the way I think they should. Any thoughts on this?

    :)

Family Member Won't Show up in Microsoft Family Group

That means that a different family organizer added that members and only that family organizer can remove him, this is a safety measure
