Family passcode

Discus and support Family passcode in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I forgot my pass-code for family settings and now cannot play disc games...     Family passcode


    I forgot my pass-code for family settings and now cannot play disc games... Also forgot reset question...

    tried all the below in different sequences but couldn't go thru :

    LT RT X Y LB RB Y "Left Stick in" (press it in) Y Y

    Which passcode are you referring to, the Xbox LIVE (personal) passcode, or the Family Settings passcode? For the LIVE passcode, you can try recovering the profile. For the Family passcode, you need to either know the security answer, or call phone support.

    Are you referring to the LIVE passcode, or the Family Settings passcode? The Family Settings code will not be reset by a recover. If you forgot this passcode you can try answering the security question or calling phone support.

    If it's the Family Passcode you'll need to register your console at myservice.xbox.com and then contact support. Each console has a unique code that needs to be entered to reset the Family Passcode.

    Just to be clear, are you talking about an Xbox Live profile passcode or a family settings console passcode? The profile passcode can be reset by recovering the gamertag as Zen said. If it's the family settings passcode on the console you're going to have
    to call customer support for your region and walk through the passcode reset steps with them.

    Actually JHill, that's for the Family Settings Passcode. Account Passcodes are removed simply by re-downloading profiles.
