Family pass Issue

Discus and support Family pass Issue in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; My friend has the family pass but when he tried to add me it says we not in the same region yet we are from the same region.     I understand you need help with your region problem.

    You may want to check if your Xbox Live region is the same with your account region.

    Please try accessing this page to check or change your Xbox Live region:

    https://account.xbox.com/en-US/AccountMigration

    Make sure it is set to the current region you are in right now.

    Hi Ben

    So I checked my region and the person who owns the pass check their region and both are set to South Africa.

    We tried all methods of sharing the pass and they don't work.

    He shared the pass with someone else and it worked.

    When he selects the option to create a link to share the pass it says we are not in the same region.

    That is strange! If you are both in South Africa it should be shared properly since you are in a region where the subscription is currently supported.

    Does any of you somehow using VPN during the process? As this also modifies the location of the account when sharing. Also, if he adds you as a member via https://account.microsoft.com/family page this should share the subscription automatically to you without an error with the region.
