Family organiser

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You can simply remove your self from the family group since you're an adult. To do so, sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family.

Are you the organiser of the family group? Can you try doing it from the organiser account?

I think my account is in a family but I don't know who the organiser is

on the family page there is just my profile and there is no way to leave the family

Is your account a child account? If so, then parental controls may have blocked it and the parent (organiser) will need to unlock

If it was a child account but you are now an adult but sill within the family account, then you either need the organiser (parent) to unlock purchases or leave the family account

If neither of those are true, then I'm not sure

Make sure that your account is set as the family organizer and not subject to any restrictions.

Once verified that you are the Organizer, kindly adjust content restrictions by going to: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/user/settings/privac... from there, kindly customize your privacy and security settings as to how you would like it to be set up. After that, make sure to "Submit" the changes in order for it to take effect.
