    Family Group with two Xbox operating at the same time


    I have 3 Xbox in my home and my son likes to play at the same time. Why can’t I play on my lives account without him removing me from my session or vise verse? This makes no sense! We are using the family group and he is using his own profile which I monitor. Please provide the process to allow this, or explain to me why I should have to pay for two live subscriptions. Thank you.

    Hello Memnok75, at this time sharing is only possible between two consoles, the third party will have to purchase their own subscription if they wish to play paid online games, or enjoy the Game Pass.

    Free games like Fortnite don't require Live Gold.

    Microsoft is testing a family plan for more devices, but is currently still in the experimental phase and not available to the public.

    I've cleared the cookies, cache, and used it on two other devices, and every time I go to account.xbox.com it gives me a page on privacy settings and how I can't change them because I'm in a family group, and I'm not in a family group.

    Please note that having a subscription on the account is not only the basis why he couldn't join.

    Based on their FAQ, it says:
    "Your group members can only join a group up to two times per year. This includes leaving and rejoining the same group."
