    Family Group Permissions


    My friend recently sent me a realm invitation for Minecraft and it says I can't join due to my permissions. It says to sign into the family group with the adult account to change the settings but the problem is that I'm not even in a family group. I need my "organizer" to change my permissions but I don't even have one so I don't know what to do. I just want to be able to play in a realm.

    Sounds like your account is part of a family group and it has been blocked by an adult of this group. You will need to ask their permission.

    Permissions can easily be changed using the new Xbox family app.

    If your friend is redirected to the "manage app privacy settings on Xbox" page, it means that his account is linked to a family group. The the organized of the family group needs to Log in to Xbox settings. Then select the child account's (your friend's account) profile and changed the settings.
