Family group glitch

It means that the system detects that you're still a minor. Please ask an adult to add you as a member of the family group by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and once you're added as a member, they will ten sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings to manage your account and privacy settings for you.

I was redirected to "why can't i change my privacy settings?" Page instead of settings.

I have a problem that is my parents don't use microsoft in general

Hi Artem, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and from there make sure that these settings are set to “allow” or “everyone”:

* You can see and upload community creations

* You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

* Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

* You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

* You can create and join clubs

* You can join multiplayer games

Make sure to hit “submit” when you made any changes.

If you're redirected to a support page it means that you're on a family group or you're still a minor, you've mentioned that you're no longer part of the family and if you're redirected to the support page, I'm sorry but you'll need to ask an adult or your parent to add you again as a member on https://account.microsoft.com/family and once you're added, they will then sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings to manage your settings.

I'm sorry to hear that your daughter's account was removed from your family group and added to someone else's. I can understand why you would want to get it back as soon as possible.

There are a few possible reasons why this might have happened. One is that your daughter accidentally accepted an invitation from another family group, or that someone else accessed her account and did so. Another is that there was a glitch in the system that caused the account to be transferred incorrectly.

To resolve this issue, you will need to contact the owner of the other family group and ask them to remove your daughter's account from their group. You can check the Parent email of that family group by going to account.microsoft.com/family and sign in with your daughter's account.

Other option is to let your daughter's account leave the family group. This option is also available when you sign in your daughter's account on account.microsoft.com/family. For your reference, you may check this link: Leave family group or remove members - Microsoft Support

You can also find their gamertag and email address in the Family settings section of your Xbox console or the Xbox Family Settings app on your mobile device.
