    Two adults (parent control) and one child - possible?

    In a nutshell have your partner sign into their account at account.microsoft.com/family and add you to the family as an adult and you would have the same controls as your partner in controlling any child in the family.

    Family Controls has a family timer option.

    Family Timer: This setting allows you to limit the time that your console can be used on a daily or weekly basis.

    It's nothing to worry about. You don't have to do anything. Now you can reset the code from the website that's shown on the support site.
