Family Account Settings Help

Hello. I’ve been playing Sims 4 on Xbox One for a few years now and really want to access the gallery, but every time I try it tells me that it violates my child account settings and that I need to update them under Manage Family Members. I asked my dad for help, and he went into the Manage Family Members menu and changed all of the available settings to adult and unrestricted. I’ve turned 18 within the past few months, and I double checked that all of my info on my Microsoft account is with the right birthday, so I don’t understand why my account is still restricted. The only thing I could think of is having my dad remove me from the family, but we’re worried that it will make me repurchase games if we try that.

Which account was the one that purchased the game? Was it your father's or yours? if it was yours then the license will not be revoked even if you were to be removed from the family. You can try having your account removed from your family and then have it added back if it is still a child account. Follow this link for the steps.

Hello! It will not, but you can have the primary account on the console call Phone Support to reset it. You can find the contact info for your region at:
