    Family Account Confusion


    I have been having trouble getting my son registered as a part of my family on our Xbox. He is a part of a family, registered under a parent account that I must have set up a long time ago, but can no longer access. I recognize the username, but cannot access it either on the Xbox or on live.com. When my son is logged in, he cannot do anything with the old "parent" account he's registered under. When I'm logged in with my active account, that old account is inaccessible (doesn't show up). How do I access this old/outdated parent account if I can't log into it from the Xbox?

    Hi, thanks for the quick response. The issue I am having is on the website in the family center not on the console itself, sorry for the confusion. The profiles load up fine on the consoles but I can no longer add gold to the family members account. The
    account still shows in the family center as well it is just with adding gold to the account. Thanks

    Hey there! I'm sorry for the confusion here; hopefully I can clear things up a little for you. As a Secondary Account on a Family Plan, you have limited access to certain features; essentially you are a Child Account. You can try opening it up as much as
    possible by going to the Online Safety and Family settings on both your and the Primary Account. For more information on Family Plans, check here:
