False Complaints against my brother accoutn

My little brother recently got suspended from Xbox live because he violated the community guidelines rules. His suspension recently ended today, but his friends are now still talking even more mess at him. They are also threating to make a false report
against him. What should we do in case they do make a false report against his account?

False complaints?

Truthfully, I would remind your friend, that even if it is someone there with him.. That could cause him to get into trouble with the Enforcment Squad. You are always responsible for the things that go on with your gamertag, and what/people do when you/they
are logged into it.

Also, you can have as many gamertag's as you want. I, myself have 3 different accounts, but only use this one for anything anymore. My husband has 2.

You should be fine, even if someone is turning you in. From what I have noticed, Xbox looks into all complaints and just doesn't take someone at their word that they did something wrong.

As long as he hasn't done anything to violate the code of conduct he'll be fine. The enforcement team investigates each complaint they receive and will only issue a suspension if they determine he has done something wrong. His friends can be suspended for
filing false complaints.

[/quote]So what if someone Files a Complaint. It's not an "automated" System and if you have done nothing to violate the ToU/ CoC, then you have nothing to worry about. People File False Complaints all the time, that does nothing
against the person who has the Complaint Filed against them. It only hurts the person trying to File False Complaints.

you cannot get banned for false complaints, if you did anything against the rules you get the suspension will happen.

A forced name change is a drastic negative action against an account, to many over the life of the account will lead to it being banned. You don't want one of those, besides there is nothing in your current gt that can get you one anyway. Getting people
to false report your name will only lead to negative action against them and possibly yourself if the false complaints get our of hand. (false complaints are of course against the TOS).

Support has told you wrong, no one on these forums can change your name for you. You will need to pay the 800 points to do it.

It doesn't autoban you just for getting lots of complaints. Someone in MS will check if you are indeed doing something against the rules. If you haven't done anything then jokes on them. Filing too many false complaints will be seen as an abuse on the system
