Fallout New Vegas (Backwards Compatibility) HELPP?!?!

So I put my fallout new Vegas ultimate edition disc in my Xbox one and it told me to install it so I did, once it was completed I noticed when I went to see if I could get all my DLC it was saying that I do not own the game or any of the DLC's even though
I own the two ultimate editions disc's?? Need answers or help asap..

The XBOX One never asked for both discs. I did put the second disc in to see if it would trigger the DLC to download/activate, it had no effect.

This wasn't an issue with Fallout 3 GOTY, just inserted the disc, the XBOX One downloaded the backward compatible version and the DLC that came with the game was already there and ready to go. Didn't need to insert the second disc or anything.

I had the same issue. I had to buy the dlc. cause I noticed. disc one is the game and disc two was the dlc well disc two is useless now cause if you just put that one in it plays the game. well it did for me and I was very confused..so I had to spend 46.00
plus tax to get all the dlc.

i hope im not too late but all you need to do is go to new vegas in the games menu hit the start button and choose manage game while disc 2 is in the xbox then you can choose to download the dlc

Manage game didn't do it for me, but when disc 2 was in, from the dashboard, I chose Install Disc and it started installing

that didn't work for me. like I said I had to buy the dlc again. so If it works for others. that would just be bs. for me. cause every time I put in disc two it would just play the game as disc one was in .

Here is a workaround for those having issues installing the DLC from disc 2. I made a video guide I hope it helps.

I am also having an issue with FONV and the issue is when I put in the Platinum Hits disc my XB1 tells me the game cannot be played here.

Hey all,

In order to access the DLC in the game you will need to install the game from Disc 2. So if you currently have installed from Disc 1, be sure to delete the game and then install again from Disc 2 for all of the DLC to be installed.

Try those steps and see if they help out.
