    Fallout 76 won't load on windows 10 through xbox gamepass


    Hi! We have the xbox game pass on our new computer. We have successfully loaded and played a couple games on the xbox app, so we decided to sign up for the game pass. We played Fallout 76 for one afternoon. The following day, it would not load. The music plays but the screen stays black. We made no changes to the computer. Windows defender probably ran a scan and I'm sure Windows did an update. I did some looking on-line and found suggestions to turn off windows defender real time protection. Still the game will not load. I really did not see much else for solutions. I confirmed the latest drivers are installed. We have an Alienware m17 R3, 300Hz Intel Core i7, 16GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super, 1TB SSD. Any help would appreciated!

    Yes you do need Fallout 76 to use it. The game is on gamepass, so you can download it on the PC from the Xbox app.

    Unfortunately the PC version of Fallout 76 is not cross save compatible with the Xbox version of the game. If you play on GamePass streaming or an Xbox console you'll have to start at the beginning.
