Fallout 76 - Sound Stops Working when In Game

Hello,

I have been playing Fallout 76 with no problems until the past few days.

Now I have an issue with the sound not working in game.

The sound works on the Xbox Menus, Other Apps, and even in the game main-menu, but not in the game itself.

If I go to the sound settings and change anything, then the sound comes in sort a few seconds before stopping again.

My Xbox is connected to my Vizio Smart TV via HDMI, and the Vizio Sound Bar is connected via HDMI-ARC to the TV.

Hello.

Myself & my friends have each had this issue with different games.

A simple hard reset should fix it.

I hope this issue is resolved quickly.

Do a hard reset. If that does not work, try Uninstall in in re installing the game.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue.

Try performing the hard reset exactly like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

i had that very same problem when i started playing fallout 76, and apparently they have a pacifism mode in the options, but get this it doesn't stop people from attacking you for no reason, instead it paints a target on your back, the community for fallout
76 at least in my short time of playing is either all little kids or toxic adults, killing you for loot, plus the game is just a broken mess, i have hope for the future of 76, but as is its just underwhelming.

well hopefully when it comes out it actually works and there's no problems with it unlike when Fallout 76 came out.
