    Fallout 76 account and new Xbox Game Pass subscription


    Hello, I have an existing Fallout 76 account (not on any Xbox Game Pass account,) and I wanted to subscribe to Game Pass, my question is.. will the new subscription create a new and separate account for Fallout 76, or can I use my existing account and character on the new Game Pass account?

    I'm sorry you are experiencing issues playing Fallout 76.

    May I ask if, in addition to your Game Pass for Console subscription, you have an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass Core?

    The reason I'm asking is that Fallout 76 is an online-only game and as such, it requires an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass Core (formerly Xbox Live Gold), or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (Includes Xbox Game Pass Core).

    i bought pc Ultimate game pass, then i bought fallout 76 on pc Ultimate game pass.

    fallout 76 is free, on steam and bethesda.net, it is the account you pay for.

    Just to be sure, do you currently have an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass Core (Included in Ultimate)? Fallout 76 is an online game only, and as such, it requires an active subscription to either of these services.

    If you don't have a subscription, that would be the reason why the Game Pass Plans screen won't let you move on to the game.

    Why can I no longer play Fallout 76? I bought it at launch and now your greedy company is asking me to subscribe to gamepass ultimate to play a game I paid $60 for

    Fallout 76 is an online only game so it's always required a subscription to play it. It doesn't have to be Ultimate, it can just be Game Pass Core (what was Gold).
