    Hi all,

    Have been playing Fallout 4 on this particular XBOX One since the date of release.

    All of a sudden (after a couple of months not playing XBOX at all) I cannot get to the main menu after signing into my account.

    I got onto Bethesda support and they worked me through a number of questions (my answers beside them):

    • "Do you have any third-party modifications installed / download through Bethesda.net? None at all
    • Have you tried launching the game while disconnected from Xbox Live and the internet? I have and this did not work.
    • Have you tried launching the game while connected to Xbox Live and the internet using an Ethernet connection? No I haven't but I don't see why would this work instead of WiFi???
    • Have you tried deleting all saved data and resyncing from the cloud? Yes, worked once for me but next play it failed oncemore
    • Does anyone else in your household use the console? Yes
      • If so, do any other Gamertag's encounter the same issue? No, interestingly not

    Fallout works fine on my brother's gamertag and not mine.

    Previously, I did delete my account saved data, resynch with Xbox cloud and it worked, but now it doesn't seem to when repeating.

    When I did this, it worked for ONE play.

    I'll repeat: I have not tinkered with this account, this game, any game or even the console EVER - mods included."

    Their reply:

    "Thank you for the follow up reply. As you may have noticed based on the information provided the issue you are encountering is due to your Gamertag having difficulties syncing with the Xbox Cloud service provided through Xbox Live. As the Xbox Live
    service is owned and maintained by Microsoft, Bethesda Customer Support is unable to investigate any issues that players may encounter when syncing to the Xbox Live cloud. With that in mind I highly recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support for additional
    assistance with this matter."

    I recently also read on a forum that the 'only way' to fix this is a full reset of the console (all data... EVERYTHING).

    Tonight I tried this, installed the game, re-synced and ran an experiment:

    I was able to get to main menu, load my last save, walked around and saved oncemore.

    When I restarted the console, it failed to load the main menu after I logged into my gamertag.

    Does anyone know of this issue or has the know-how to troubleshoot through this?

    I moved your post into a new thread so that we could tailor our support specifically to you. Now, I would like to clarify a few things so we can further assist. It appears that there’s been trouble loading your character from the cloud? Would
    this be on an Xbox console? Also, have you received any kind of error messages or

    error codes?     If you would be able to let us know if you’ve done anything to troubleshoot this as well would be great.

    Fallout 4 won't load

    You should be able to access your cloud saves if you are logged into your XBox Live Account. I believe that you may also need an active Gold subscription.

    Game downloaded by code won't play

    Same here. I downloaded Fallout 3 that came with Fallout 4 and the was code was accepted. However the game won't load, displaying that if I own the game or no and I should insert the disc. The code that came with the message was Ox803f8001 but no matter
    how much I try, the game won't load.

    We did change some stuff around mainly the way to get in contact with our Xbox Support Specialists. Before the customers could call in and get us, the new way is to
    Request A Callback from us and we reach out to the customers. Follow the link but when it asks if you want to speak to the virtual agent say no. Then schedule
    a callback and we will be more than glad to assist in this matter to get you back up and gaming!!

    Hey Leslie , Amber I did spend a bit of time on the sites that were sent. I still could not find a solution.I admit that I am a not computer savvy and am hesitant to jump in and botch up a situation and make situation worse. I do appreciate your help,
