    Fallout 3 redeem code not working


    Hi, I was trying to download Fallout 3, but the redeem code (which i got by buying the Fallout edition of xbox) isn't working. We were trying to sort it out with this nice person from support in chat, but we still couldn't figure it out. So he told me to
    read the forums, and then maybe write my own post. Since I haven't found anything useful, I'm here. I just got an error message saying "Something went wrong..." and no error code, which wasn't helpful at all. So can someone help me? Should I get a new redeem
    code maybe?

    Hey SebaCZ21,

    There should be an error code at the bottom right portion of the error message that looks similar to 0x00000000 or XBOS-0000. We're going to need that error code so we can better assist. Thanks!

    Oh, I see. Sorry, I have a screenshot, just forgot about it. It said:

    "XBOS-4000

    Heya SebaCZ21!

    That error code generally refers to region mismatch. Be sure the region of your account is tied to the correct region of your physical locale. Cross-region accounts aren't supported and may cause issues with redeeming codes.

    I always set as my region the Czech Republic. I was looking through settings on xbox and my account and it is set to Czech Republic.

    Fallout 3 redeem code not working

    That's not the account region we are refering to

    That's the console region

    To see your account region you must go to commerce.microsoft.com

    To change your region you must first use the region migration tool under my account and change my region on this website

    Then change the console region

    Fallout 3 Code has already been used?

    I have this same problem, except I redeemed my code and it said there was an error downloading Fallout 3 and to try again, and now the code doesn't work as it's saying it has already been redeemed, yet Fallout 3 isn't in my downloads queue or showing up
    anywhere on my console...

    If you are receiving a message saying that your Fallout 3 code has already been redeemed, you can verify if you have already redeemed Fallout 3 by going to the Fallout
    3     page on xbox.com while signed in with the account that pre-ordered Fallout 4. Click on "Buy Game" and it will show that you have already purchased Fallout 3 if you have already redeemed the code.

    Give the suggested steps a try and be sure to let us know the results. Thanks in advance!
