Fallout 3 redeem code from inside Fallout 4 copy not working

Hi,

I've purchased a copy of Fallout 4 for Xbox One, with the redeem code
[Mod Removed- Please avoid posting game codes publicly] and I received a message telling me that it was already used. I checked with Xbox support chat and they told me that it has been registered on 2nd of March. I hope you can check this information
and help me receive my digital code for the Fallout 3 copy.

Where did you purchase Fallout 4? If you bought the disc version of Fallout 4 and the Fallout 3 code has already been used, unfortunately we won't be able to replace the code.

You would have to try taking it back to the retailer to exchange it.

Well the retailer claims it's not their responsibility since they are 3rd party sellers and they said that even if they could change it, they only do it by post and because it's a different country, I will be the one supporting the taxes... So that's too
much hastle for a 5$ code of Fallout 3. Indeed I want to play the game since I never did and I want to make more sense of the story, but I'd rather just find an unused one and buy it. That being said, I'm not less *** off because of the situation and I feel
like I've been ripped off.
