Fallout 3 GOTY discs are not read by Xbox One

I'm trying to install Fallout 3 GOTY from discs but my console is giving me the disc error code. Other discs work fine. Have had some trouble with other did movies. Already tried disc trouble tutorial.

Im having the same issue with my fallout goty and fallout new vegas ultimate editon where it'll read the disk but not show up or install from any of the 360 discs but plays my x1 game discs fine

 

Fallout 3 dlc installed but not working?

Okay so i downloaded fallout 3 via the code i received from purchasing fallout 4. The thing is, way back when you could purchase DLC for fallout 3 on xbox 360 via discs they sold in stores. I have these discs and it isn't the GOTY, these are separate discs
they sold before goty. I installed the broken steel and point lookout disc and it says its installed, but it still prompts me to purchase it and my ending is the default one at the end i receive no option to carry on into broken steel even though it has been
installed? Can someone help

 

Just got a message where the disc was loaded but it gave me the "to play this disc put it in an Xbox 360 console".

Sorry to hear the trouble you're having with Fallout 3. Do you have issues with any other Backward Compatible games by chance? Or is this the only game you're experiencing issues with? If you haven't already, please be sure to check out our
Backward Compatibility Troubleshooter and run through all the steps there.

 

I tried all of the above now and still same problem.

Do you happen to have an Xbox 360 console to test the disc on? Since you mentioned other discs work find, that further narrows the issue down to your Fallout 3 disc. Give that a shot and let us know how it goes!
