Fallout 3 for digital download?

Hi, purchased fallout 4 (hard copy) with fallout 3 available for digital download on game cover on 4 January 2016. Contacted Microsoft support three times and have been referred to the forum for assistance. Each time I was informed to wait for the follow
up email but it simply never arrived. Have not received an email regarding the code or information on digital download ever. Could I please get assistance with this.

I received the digital code for Fallout 3 following my purchase of Fallout 4. The message has expired and I didn't use the code.

 

Fallout 4 pre-order included Fallout 3 backward compatibility. Download code provided doesn't work

The Fallout 4 pre-order promotion several months back included access toy a digital copy of Fallout 3 when it became available. Xbox Live notified me today with a code for XBOX 360 Fallout 3 that when redeemed tells me it has already been redeemed. I need
a fresh code for Fallout 3 digital download.

If you purchased a specially marked copy of Fallout 4, the code will be inside the case. We cannot provide replacement codes for physical copies of Fallout 4. Let us know if you're able to locate that code!

 

Hi and thank you for your prompt response, I appreciate it. Unfortunately I do not have a code with my game but it denotes on the cover the the download should digitally available and nothing provided makes reference to a code. Could a code please be provided?

I'm afraid we don't have any codes to provide for physical copies of the game. You will need to reach out to the retailer you purchased from for a possible replacement. Thanks for your understanding!

 

Thank you, I have now resolved this with the retailer - Target Australia. I appreciate you help but I should point out that it was a shame that I have had to contact Microsoft three times through online support and then be referred to this forum and waited
for responses for across a few days for this be resolved. In total, this has gone on since early January 2016. I think that this was an unfortunate waste of a lot of peoples time (those at Microsoft that assisted as well as my own) when the answer could have
been provided in the first instance. If this happens to anyone else in Australia reading and looking for a solution just contact your retailer first and then go from there. It seemed to me that the code was innocently overlooked at the time of sale for me
as it was stored elsewhere to the game disk and cover. Thanks again and regards, Bertie Beetle.
