Fallout 3 download code message expired

Is there anyway to recover the download code for Fallout 3 from the Fallout 4 digital preorder? Wasn't aware there was an expiration to XBox Live messages.

Fallout 3 code message expired before I could use it.

- I preordered Fallout 4

- recieved promo code for Fallout 3

- Was unable to download due to Fallout 4's release date

- message expired

- Now I'm sad

Product: Fallout 3 (as part of the Fallout 4 order)

Date Purchased: 08/2015

Problem: Message containing code expired.

 

Expired message with Fallout 3 code

• Promotion name: “Free Fallout 3 code with digital purchase of Fallout 4”
• Date of purchase: January 17 2016
• Issue:
  • “The message with my Fallout 3 code has expired.”
  • After I purchased Fallout 4 on the Xbox one I later received the Fallout 3 code through a message but did not have enough space to download the game until now. When I was about to use the code and download Fallout 3, the message had expired.
