Fallout 3 Download Code Error

Hello,

I purchased Fallout 4 New, it came with a free Fallout 3 download code which I have tried to redeem but keep getting an error message saying I should try again later. I spoke to xbox support and they suggested it was a US region code and I'm in the UK so
that might be the reason for it not working. I changed the locale and still had no luck so theythen suggested someone on the forums might be able to help with a replacement code?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What is the error code you get?

So it's the Fallout 3 code that gives you the error? Did Fallout 4 download correct or did that also have problems?

Purchased Fallout 4 and cannot redeem code for Fallout 3 free download. Error code is :

If you purchased it as a physical disc, you would need to contact the retailer you purchased it from for an exchange.

If it's a digital copy the codes are universal but your acount region must reflect your actual region

You must go to my account and change my region on this website

Then change it on your console

As mentioned in this thread, those codes are universal. Which error code are you getting? If it's

0x080170015, please follow that link for further troubleshooting steps, which may lead you to migrate your Xbox Live account region.

I have this same problem, except I redeemed my code and it said there was an error downloading Fallout 3 and to try again, and now the code doesn't work as it's saying it has already been redeemed, yet Fallout 3 isn't in my downloads queue or showing up
anywhere on my console...
